The 2025 Ruffnecks Fall Program provides weekly opportunities for returning players, new candidates, and non-Ruffnecks players to workout, play, and learn together. Fall Baseball provides an opportunity for us to do what we always do: Teach, coach, and play baseball in a developmental format. We use the fall season to welcome new candidates and to allow our returning players to enjoy baseball in a relaxed, yet instructive setting. We limit our Fall activity exclusively to weekends. There are no mid-week practices or obligations… just an opportunity (mostly Sundays) to enjoy baseball in small doses in the unique New England autumn. The home for Fall Baseball is the New England Baseball Complex (NEBC). The NEBC is a multi-field facility built in 2013 and owned by the founders of the New England Ruffnecks. The NEBC was designed to be a centerpiece for baseball in the region for everyone.
All Fall sessions are on weekends. Most are on Sundays. The home base for activity is the New England Baseball Complex (NEBC) in Northborough. This page provides a reference for weekly assignments, activity, and announcements. Registration is open to the general public with limited space availability. The Registration Link is to the right. Please download it, fill it out, and return it by mail with payment or send in PDF format by email to neruffnecks@gmail.com no later than Sept. 2, 2025.
The 13u Fall Program is an instructional, developmental program for five weeks. All sessions are on Sundays at the NEBC (New England Baseball Complex).
Ruffnecks Fall Program is for rising 13U players… players who have just completed their final spring and summer on the small diamond. While the 13U Fall Program serves as a selection mechanism, it is definitely NOT a “tryout.” Our 13U Fall Baseball Program is a high energy, instructive, developmental program. It is designed to teach and usher players along the transitional path to baseball on the big diamond. It is a valuable experience whether or not a player intends to be a candidate for the Ruffnecks 13U team.
We conduct our HS Wood Bat and College Prep programs in a weekly Red v. Blue format. Roll Calls are usually sent on Sunday evenings after the weekly workout. Responses are due by Monday or Tuesday. We encourage players to be available for multiple sessions. If there are non-negotiable time constraints, please let us know. Most activity is at the New Engalnd Baseball Complex (NEBC). Some activity may be located at The Roxbury Latin School in West Roxbury. Sessions may include games vs. non-Ruffnecks opponents. HS Wood Bat and College Prep participants may intermix at times. We consider competitive parity and instructional objectives on a weekly basis.
We use WOOD BATS ONLY. The schedule is fixed each weekend, unless there is a tournament or league option added to the program. Players are assigned to Red and Blue Teams.
