The NEBC hosts the 2016 American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) Mickey Mantle World Series Qualifier for the Northeast.
Teams compete for an opportunity to represent the region in the AABC Mickey Mantle 16U World Series in Waterbury, CT, July 27-31. AABC attracts competitive teams seeking to earn their way into a national World Series. This event is for serious programs and teams.
Format
- Pool Play followed by Double Elimination Championship Bracket.
- Teams must be available to play at 8:00am Thursday, July 7
- 4 Game Minimum.
- Double Elimination Playoffs
- Wood Bat Only - No Composites

- This event is an AABC World Series Qualifier.
- Mickey Mantle WS Dates : July 27 – 31 in Waterbury, CT
- Winner is expected to advance and attend the World Series.
- Director will defer to next highest finisher if winner cannot attend.
- Travel stipend to be awarded to team qualifying for World Series.
- Entry fee includes all fees for compliance with AABC registration requirements.
- Roster Requirements must be met prior to participation. Instructions to follow.
- All players must be born on/after May 1, 1999.
